Welcome

Matcha Barre and Community is an online platform offering barre classes and community events. With a focus to empower one another and create a positive community!

Our barre classes combine basic ballet movement, pilates, and other range of motion, with a more up-tempo cardio element. Every class is different and hits all muscle groups from top to bottom, and in between!

​

The ball class uses a large stability/yoga ball for core and strength work. Mostly on the mat, we utilize the ball to strengthen our core and balance!

ABOUT

I'm Yvette! A barre instructor with experience as a Community Coordinator. I love partnering my love for barre with health and wellness partners to empower our community to thrive and grow!

I am ACE GFI certified. I also have a certification in Barre, and have been teaching for over 7 years. I love barre, because I connect with the movement and the format from my younger dancing days!

​

I started Matcha Barre with encouragement from my friends and family! Being stuck at home due to the pandemic, it was so refreshing to connect online and be able to take care of our health and wellness! The convenience of just being at home and taking a class when it fit in your schedule was a game changer! That's why I offer live and recorded classes!

Matcha Barre classes:

 

You will need a mat, small weights 2 to 3 lbs. (two filled water bottles work as a great option!), a barre (any high back chair, countertop, table can work!), and water for yourself!

Mondays: 12pm

​

Fridays: 9am

Matcha Ball:

​

You will need a stability/yoga ball, small and medium weights (2&3 lbs or 3&5 lbs), and your mat. Also have an 8" small yoga ball as an extra! This class mostly stays on the mat.

Class prices and packages:

​

$10 per class or recorded class

​

$54 for a 6 class pass package

​

$96 for a 12 class pass package

​

*Payment options are Venmo, Zelle, Cash or Check. An invoice will be emailed after sign up.

Matcha Express

​

This 35 minute class will work all the muscles! Head to toe in half the time! It's an easy one to fit into any busy schedule! (Props will be added periodically!)
